Unified Korean men’s handball team earns first win at world championship

Korea are competing as one team at the world handball championship in Denmark
and have claimed their first victory there beating arch-rivals Japan 27 to 25
it was the semi-finals in which the teams are competing for 21st to 24th
place having failed to make it out of the group stage this is the first time a
joint Korean handball team has competed internationally and it’s made up of 16
players from the south and four from the north team Korea will play Saudi Arabia
on Sunday local time in Copenhagen was still waiting for the result of that
game for 21st place
