Roger Federer Wimbledon 2017 semi-final press conference

It was close you know.
Even though I feel like it reminded me of the matches I’ve had this tournament on some occasions,
you know, there were chances for the opponent. I was able to come up with
the goods when it mattered. The breakers, I played good in the breakers,
or at least used — if my opponents didn’t play well in the breakers,
I was able to close it out. Never played with any sense of panic,
which is so important when it gets to crunch time.
So, yeah, it was the toughest match. I guess so, yes. It was close.
I’m happy I won all these big points today. Q. Do you remember how many times you made
to the final without losing any sets in Wimbledon? In Wimbledon?
Never before. Q. Twice. Twice before? You see, I don’t know
everything about my whole career. It would have been nice to make this
The first one, so I’m a little disappointed about that (laughs). You know, marking history here at Wimbledon. It’s a big deal. I love this tournament.
All my dreams came true here as a player. To have another chance to
and go for number eight now, and

00:01:17,750 –>00:01:23,000
be kind of so close now at this stage,
is a great feeling. Yeah, unbelievably excited. And I hope
I can play one more good match and, 11 finals here, all these records, it’s great.
But it doesn’t give me the title quite yet. That’s why I came here this year.
I’m so close now, so I just got to stay focused.

I expect 4 tiebreakers, and Federer winning 100-98 in the fifth, by the time the match is over, Rafa and Novak will have ended their careers.

federer in 3 sets in final. its good he played a tough match in semi's will get him pumped up. cilic is a good player but doesnt have the variety fedex has. too many weapons. fed defeated him last year when he was half healthy.

More scared of Cilic than Nadal or Murray. Murray is Federer's Pigeon. Nadal isn't the Speed Demon that he was on Grass During his younger years.

federer was nervous today. He will lose to cilic if he plays like today. Cilic is on fire.

Not even a two-minute highlight clip of Federer-Berdych, or Federer-Dmitrov, for Wimbledon 2017? What's going on?

Honestly, as much as I'd love rog to win his shots sit up nicely into cilics hammer shots so just like how cilic should've won in 4 last year and battered him at us open I'm going to be putting on a heavy bet that marin wins because I really can't see fed winning

Federer has been cleaning his nose and cleaning the opponents out of the court in straight sets in every Wimbledon17 match..

Federer is going to win Wimbledon, then he will win Laurel's Sportsperson of the year and then perhaps best comeback of the year award as well. Although I think it would be a close 5 setter on Sunday with Roger prevailing.

Who will his coach Ljubicic support in the final? His countryman or Federer? Difficult. Croatia could create history.

he still has effects of cold. now it is reported he has a sinus infection…. i think this means he won't be at 100% for final and if it goes beyond 3 sets could be trouble hope he recovers more before final.
