Mayor’s Water Conservation Challenge 2019

I’m Miramar Mayor Wayne Messam and we’re kicking
off Earth Month with a splash as we are proud to announce our second annual participation
in the Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation. Throughout the month of April we encourage
you to take the pledge in helping conserve water. Simple steps like a bucket to wash your car,
turning the faucet off while brushing your teeth and using water more than once are all
easy but effective ways in doing your part to help save millions of gallons per day. But it doesn’t stop there, as we celebrate
water conservation month with a fun free event where you can splash around the idea. Join us at Miramar Regional Parks water playground
on April 27th for a day filled with music, giveaways, a water bucket challenge and a
rap contest. But best of all you can take the plunge by
taking the pledge. So let’s go Miramar, we can do this. Take the challenge, take the plunge.
