Rhett is 100% such a family man and he is one of the purest forms of wholesome masculinity I've ever seen.

I'm still for killing spiders that invade your household in whatever method you deem necessary, but Rhett… Maybe double-check to see if spiders do or don't experience suffering/pain like we do: https://www.google.com/search?q=do+spiders+experience+suffering&oq=do+spiders+experience+suffering+&aqs=chrome..69i57j33.3998j1j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Saying the spider was on your property is a lame excuse because they have probably been there longer than you, but if it has a possibility of hurting your kid then of course. I also think I somehow missed the actual question in the time I watched. lol

I dunno, it's pretty easy for me. I've never been big into sharing my pictures online, except for my tumblr blog when I had the time or motivation to manage it. If it's something I want my friends to see, I just casually send them the pic. So yeah, the social media side of this isn't at all an issue for me. I would recommend people to stay away from sharing pictures online, unless they're actually into photography. Even then, upload it for yourself rather than to show it off to others. Otherwise it can mess with your head.

You can take pictures for yourself, though, to catalogue your life. As I said, I used to have a tumblr blog for my photography, but that was more of an artsy project. Otherwise, I have a personal Google Map where I mark every single place I've been to and attach pictures to the markers.

As for being in the moment vs documenting – also easy. Just don't take pictures every second? I photograph whatever I like without worrying much about how the picture comes out. I like lo-fi photography after all. Photography is also my hobby, so it doesn't take a way from the experience I'm having. Not everyone's a photographer – I get that. So I'd just recommend to try not to care about pictures as much. If you're spending more than 1 minute for a picture, you're probably doing something wrong.

They keep cutting off each other and won't wait for the other to make their point clear… Made it harder and longer to reach their point… Adding more confusion to non-english speaker like me haha :'"") Great topic tho!

There’s a movie with robin williams about that where he is has to edit a life montage flofnthe deceased and people do some bad things and what not to make it thrilling. It’s called The Final Cut.

I worry about this a lot with my niece! She's only 16 months as of today, and I've noticed I don't take as many photos of her as I do of landscapes/monuments. I definitely value the IRL experience over photographs, but because I'm going blind, I think I'm biased towards the memories. Especially people-based memories, like how someone sounds, or smells, or their lil gestures. They all mean so much, and can't be captured in photos.

    E. B. White Widow is Sativa dominant strain that gives you euphoric highs and the sneaking sensation spiders are trying to tell you something.

My god link, just never think about uploading ANY picture, when you are capturing it. Then when you are looking at them at a later date, is when you make the decision if you want to upload or not.

I think I'm with Link on this one, you should take at least one photo to remember a moment. But you shouldn't let that moment pass you by, because you're to focused upon taking the photo. #Earbiscuits

I'm more like Rhett, where I take photos and then decide later if any of them are instagram-worthy. I generally take about 3-4 quick shots, which takes maybe a minute at most. This is for times when I'm being in the moment.
Of course, sometimes the objective is to take pictures, in which case I will try to frame them well and take far more (but of a variety of subjects, say several different flowers in my garden), whether or not they're going on Instagram, or if I just want them for my personal use. I almost always decide after the fact what I'm going to do with them.

I miss disposable cameras, I always had fun seeing my pictures developed. The last one I ever had developed was a few years ago and all the pictures came out grainy and terrible. =(

Bringing a camera, separate from your phone, is a great way to capture moments while still remaining distant from your digital life.

I now know why link can't be there for his friends (see previous episode), he sends so much energy worrying about everything.

i’m so thankful for this conversation right now. lost my grandmother not even two months ago and i’m losing my grandfather any day now. i’m a very reminiscent person and i feel so bad because most of the pictures i have with them are from years and years ago. but this conversation opened my mind and i’m glad it came out when it did.❤️

Don't let the moment be about taking photos to where it takes you from the moment is the essence.

DO NOT use spider spray. the chemicals are terrible plus its a slow painful death rather than ending them immediately

Best hot sauce on the planet: KFC hot sauce. It can be drank…and i do drink it. I drink at least 2 packs before i get to eat if i go through the drive through or get it to go. You know how random sauce packs can accumulate in your fridge? Well all of the packs in mine are all KFC hotsauce.
